Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock

I like the “Dry-Touch” aspect of this sunblock.  When you apply it, it feels like…nothing.  It comes in a variety of SPFs, so you can choose what’s right for your situation and activity level.

Soma Vanishing Edge Panties

If you don’t do thongs or feel like wearing Spanx, these are a great alternative for lessening panty lines.  They’re made of a lightweight microfiber and have strips of silicone at the leg openings to hold them in place on your backside.  They come in 5 different styles, so you can stick with the type of panty you prefer.

Modern Dog Magazine

My friend, Amy, introduced me to Modern Dog, a quarterly magazine that is “the lifestyle magazine for modern dogs and their companions.”  You’ll find great articles and all types of new and fun things to buy (or dream of buying) for your pampered pooch.

Ten Thousand Villages

Ten Thousand Villages is a Fair Trade retailer whose mission is “To create opportunities for artisans in developing countries to earn income by bringing their products and stories to our markets through long-term fair trading relationships.”  I love not only the unique, handcrafted items (and there is something for everyone), but also the stories of the artisans and businesses that create them…like Dominion Traders of Pakistan who made my beautiful onyx lamp.

I like the new dry touch mosquito spray that’s out, too!

I like Modern Dog and also BARK magazine, and well, of course Celebrating Greyhounds, but I’m biased there!

That’s a cool idea and now I’m going to have to look!

Dry-Touch Mosquito Spray? You know I’ll be checking that out! I will also check out BARK magazine. I’m new to “dog” magazines, but not to Celebrating Greyhounds. We have a subscription and I love it. I also know you are an Editor of that particular magazine. That will be on a 4 Faves list before the year is out.

  • those undies had me riveted. i can;t really imagine what they’re like. i’m too old to worry about panty lines. the ones on my face and throat are worry enough.

i recently saw a programme on coffee and how little the village growers make on our daily cuppa. very sad. fairtrade is a good way to go.

Hi Georgia! My girlfriend was horrified that I posted that picture of the panties. I will state here…they were a new, never worn pair (if that makes it any better). Another additional benefit to the panties, they don’t shift around and bunch up…if you know what I mean.

I am working to shift my purchasing to fair trade, local and handcrafted items. Even if that’s not on a person’s agenda, Ten Thousand Villages just has beautiful things!

Lori the chocolate I got at Ten Thousand Villages was amazing! That little bit of saltiness is addictive. I bet you know where I am asking to go the next time we visit!!!

Also I got my grandma’s stone fruit from my mom to put with the lovely pear I got with you in the alabaster that matches your lamp – they look so pretty in a group.
