August 1
And the Winner is…
.
Make Art a Part (of Your Life) is the next step on my creativity journey. It is an 8-week e-course that covers subjects like perception, appreciation, inspiration, education, decoration, socialization, exploration, interaction and creation. The “creation” portion looks super fun. The course allows you to try your hand at a variety of art forms including paper crafting, graphic design, photography, stitching, jewelry, drawing, cooking and painting. If it sounds like fun, join me. The course costs $45.00 and you can sign-up starting August 4, 2011.
I had a great time at the Midwest Writers Conference, July 28-30. A special treat was meeting and sitting in on classes with Patti Digh, author of Creative Is a Verb. Patti graciously signed a copy of her book Four Word Self Help: Simple Wisdom For Complex Lives, and I am doing my first give-away! For your chance to win, just comment on any post this week, August 1-7. I’ll draw (one entry per person) and announce the winner next Monday, August 8. Good Luck!
That class sounds like a lot of fun! If I weren’t saving for Dewey, I’d be thinking hard about joining you!
That’s what I should be doing! If you hear any whining from me about not having enough money at Dewey, please feel free to correct me.
Duly noted! lol It really is going to be tight for me this year, but I just can’t pass up the chance to go. Now if things would stop breaking down here (car, I’m looking at you) and dogs would stop getting sick, I could actually put some money in the piggy bank!
Yay! I’m so glad you got to meet Patti! I “know” her from Twitter and realized you two were at the same conference. It sounds like you had a great time!
I had a great time, and it was so close to home. It was an honor to meet Patti. She is a great teacher and so gracious. I also had the pleasure of meeting her daughter, Emma, who was absolutely lovely.
Looks like I won a book! Thanks so much & no, I didn’t know I won.
Thanks,
Judy
Congratulations, Judy! I have your address, and I’ll put it in the mail tomorrow.
