Creativity…A Start

Posted by lori . 2 Comments

Hmmm…where to begin?  How do I become “creative?”  That’s what I was thinking when I decided to begin this journey.  When my daughter was little, I remember picking up a copy of The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron.  At that time, I was just happy to make it through the day, but what I’d seen stuck with me.  I found a copy and the back of the book offers this…“Cameron’s original, groundbreaking twelve-step program, the essential first step on the path to creative recovery.”  I’ve no idea what will happen or if it will work but it sounds like a start, so let’s give it a try.

    Lori,
I have really enjoyed this blog. I own this book and have never read it. I think I will find it and give it a look and a read. I also need to step on the path to creative recovery. When I was on the path before it really helped me in so many ways. I’ll be watching and waiting to see how it all works out.
    Hope

Thank you, my dear sister. It means a lot to me that you like it. I’m just early in to The Artist’s Way, but for the Morning Pages alone, I can see much promise.
