How to Paint a Girl – Week 1
.
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy…Juliette Crane’s How to Paint a Girl E-course started on Monday. I can’t tell you how much I am enjoying this class. This week, Juliette showed us how she creates backgrounds.
The classroom is set-up on a private blog. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Juliette posts a new lesson with pictures, inspiration and video demonstrations. Juliette also loves cooking, so she shares favorite recipes too.  There is a place to upload photos of your work and a “discussion” area where you can ask or answer questions.
Here are the backgrounds I created this week.
Next week’s subject…Face and Hair.

Some people will never learn anything, for this reason, because they understand everything too soon.

The backgrounds you created are beautiful! You must be pretty happy with them!
They look very good… just need a Greyhound in the foreground and you’re all set. Hehe! Deccy x
Very nice!!!! I love the one with hearts. I love hearts.
Oh, I love the trees and the hearts the best! Of course, all of them are great, but those are the two that spoke to me. That class looks awesome!
Oh, and you asked about Kuster. Generally, they don’t “fix” SAR dogs, because the work ethic is stronger if you don’t, but if they get too much attitude, some people do. Right now, our plans are not to do the surgery unless we need to. We really want to wait until he’s at least two years old, too, so that his body develops right. As far as him possibly being a daddy one day, he has to go through a lot of physical exams before it’s determined if that would be a wise decision. He won’t have his initial x-rays until he’s about ten months old.
Oh my Ms.Lori, these is beautifuls! I mean, I knewa you was talented but dang girl.

The paintings are beautiful! Love the colors.
Your pal, Pip
Those backgrounds are stunning!
My Mother was a painter. Yours are very nice!!!
Zoie is doing better today and last night she ate a full dinner and drank and drank!!! Things are good!!!
These are really pretty! I love the colors.
Your quote does not bode well for my now 7 year-old niece who once settled an argument with my mother by declaring: “I’m four years old and I know everything!”
This is too cute!
