Love This – My Library
.
As a taxpayer, there are some things I like paying for and some things I don’t. One thing I like…my local library. I am fortunate to live in an area that has a robust library system, in a country that has long valued public libraries. I am a card carrying member of the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library System.
This is my library…
It’s a beautiful place filled with books, helpful librarians, DVD, audiobooks and so much more…
and I love it.
Daily Inspiration
The best of my education has come from the public library… my tuition fee is a bus fare and once in a while, five cents a day for an overdue book. You don’t need to know very much to start with, if you know the way to the public library.

I love that sculpter of the little girl in the flower.
Oh that last picture is a good one!!! We have a wonderful public library too and I also am a card carrying member.
Thank you so much for your kind words!!! I am so gun shy now!! So afraid of something else bad that will happen!! I have had enough bad stuff for a while!!!
That is a pretty cool looking library. I am a card carrying member of my local library, but sadly do not go very often.
I love the library, too! I thought it was so neat when they put their index online and then you could reserve books. I have a Kindle now, so I don’t check out real books, but I do check out the books they have in a Kindle format. I still like going to their book sales, but I don’t buy much since I have the Kindle and my storage space is small in the RV. I really don’t understand why more people don’t use their library more instead of buying so many books. I am the only one in the family that uses it.
BTW, I went to a Barnes and Noble yesterday. It was the first time since I have been on the road. I just love looking at all the books. LOL
That looks like a fantastic library. I think there are more books in my house than our public library!

This is a problem in our house too.
I’m jealous! Our library isn’t the best

I agree! I love the library, and I can even borrow ebooks! As a kid, I’d have lived at the library if I could have.
I love going to the library! We get our classic movies there too. You can sign out 5 movies at a time for 7 days.
When I come to visit you’ll have to take me to your library! 😀 It’s a lovely building. Our library used to be within walking distance of my job. On days when it’s just all too much I would wander down there…now I have to drive, but only a short drive. There’s something so comforting to me just being in the library. And that’s a terrific picture for your daily inspiration. Is it there at the library too?
This sculpture is in front of my library. I just love it. It’s hard to see in the picture, but there’s a little fairy perched beside the child.
I love the Mishawaka library also! Even more since they have e-books now.
