I’m thankful and humbled every time I get to vote.
Art Every Day Month – Day 6
I’m participating in Art Every Day Month.  Every day during the month of November I’m going to start a painting. Most won’t be finished, but I’ll get something started…a lot or a little.

I’m so enjoying reading posts and seeing pictures of the elections today. On the ground and in the moment coverage, as it were 🙂 I’m still glued to the telly CNN and BBC.
Me too!

this is lovely… I really like the off centre layout on the painting… it adds so much interest…. and the background is fab…xx
You are obviously a lot happier than me, there is a complete pack of idiots running our country! (Idiots is the nicest adjective I can think of, LOL)

Your Polling Station was quiet. Here there’s usually queues. I have a postal vote, so don’t have to go out.
I consider voting to be both a privilege and a duty. No good moaning about the outcome if you haven’t turned out at the polls, huh? Love the sign on the hydrant!
Good to see your daily art challenge is going well so far. What are you going to do with all the paintings?
My polling place is the fire station down the street. Guess the hydrant seemed a natural spot. I have a better plan for my paintings than I do for my yarn vases. I’d like to find a shop to carry them and do art fairs.
I’m glad I got to vote absentee, so I didn’t have to wait in the long lines. Living in a swing state, people stood in line for hours in many places to get their vote in.
You have to wonder if that is a comment on the state of politics these days?
I agree with you! I love voting. Maybe it was growing up out in the country and getting to go up and see the old Worth Hall where everyone out by us stopped to cast their vote. And the polling place in my grandma’s neighborhood was right next door to her house. I couldn’t wait until I was old enough to do something so important!
Love your voting pic! That girl, she does look retro ’60’s. Love it!
I love the background of that photo, I would put a dog on it instead of a woman 🙂
We voted and I am greatful for that option every year!
I always feel good after I vote. I’m glad to see this girl has clothes. LOL
Art every day–wow! That’s a wonderful thing to commit to. Look forward to seeing the results!
