Love This – What Do You Love?
.
For the past six months, I’ve been telling you about things I love. What do you love? Do you have a favorite product? Have you discovered something you want to share? Are you excited about a new artist or Etsy shop? A book or movie you think folks should read or see?
I’d like to share some of your favorites. Leave a comment or send me an email at whatremainsnow@gmail.com.
Daily Inspiration
We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men.
Herman Melville
The first thought that popped into my head was capoeira. This, despite the toll it’s taken on my body! It’s probably the biggest love of my life. Sorry Cushion 😉
My favourite telly is Game of Thrones. Season 2 just ended here and I’m now reading the books (on the hated Kindle of course lol)
Thanks for asking X
Things im in love right now are vintage linens, I cant get enough of them. Also my cake plate collection – I can sit for hours looking online for either one of these items 🙂
In this heat I love: fresh fruit, lightweight clothes, iced mint tea. Heard some traditional Tanzanian music the other night–loved that too!
Downy Wrinkle Reducer! It is a necessity when living in a RV. LOL Actually, there was another brand that I liked better because it was in a spray can, but I can’t find it here and can’t remember the name. Downy gets my clothes a little wet, but they dry quickly.
Fruit and light clothes! Also vintage furniture, old linens, Nikon and I think people should read the Hunger Games
Oh, you know I always have something I love! If you’d like a list, I’m happy to make one!
I would love to have a list! I think it will be fun to feature them.
Hmm, I have just started dressmaking again after it all went horribly wrong last year. My first make this year is a sun dress (what a waste of time that was, LOL!)

Love your inspiration for the day – so true!
Some of my recent favorite things sunflower seeds, lavender, having a yard, bird watching.

P.S: Happy 4th of July!
I love learning Italian! I started with a free program called BYKI, which does get you off to a flying start. I then moved on to Podcasts from LearnItalianPod, started listening to music, and listening to ‘teach yourself’ type CDs. I signed up to Parola del Giorno (‘Word of the day’ in Italian). When I got to the stage where I could hold a simple conversation I joined two language exchange sites and met some great Italian people to converse with on Skype video chat. Finally, I’ve been able to read simple books and magazine articles (always with a dictionary in one hand, of course!). It hasn’t been easy, especially considering my advanced age, but it’s been fun!
I also love greyhounds and Johnny Depp, and making jewellery, of course.
