Uptown Kitchen
.
Every Saturday, I share my weekly Artist Date. This week, I decided to have my date at a restaurant, so I headed to one of my local favorites…Uptown Kitchen.
Uptown Kitchen is a wonderful restaurant that offers interesting, fresh, healthy food.
It’s a beautiful space and the staff is top notch.
I had a bowl of soup and my favorite drink, The Elvis (peanut butter & banana).
Although I enjoyed my lunch, I didn’t enjoy having an Artist Date in a restaurant. Restaurants don’t tend to feel like “hang out” places.
So, I’ll classify this week’s Artist Date as a “learning experience.”
Oh mom wants one of those Elvis drinks!! We love the logo for Uptown kitchen too. Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.
Hugs madi your BFFF and Mom
The atmosphere looks great…just the place to get your creative juices flowing!
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
You got me at peanut butter and banana drink. These are Georgia’s 2 favourite things to eat! I can’t actually imagine them in a drink. Is it more like a smoothie? Any recipe?
It’s really more like a milkshake. I forgot to write down the ingredients listed on the menu. It probably could be figured out with a little trial and error.
Looks like a nice restaurant. I have never heard of a peanut butter and banana drink before, interesting 🙂

Is that crazy colorful looking thing the drink? Looks pretty cool whatever it is!
Oops! I probably should have captioned that picture. It is a light fixture.
We would LUVS a drink made out of peanut budders and bananas!!
Woofs and Licks,
Maggie Mae and Max
What a neat place!

Woof! Woof! WOW you had a Tasty Treat with you PB n banana. Hope it was good. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
We need to learn what works as well as what doesn’t work! I love the Chihuly glass lighting!
The drink sounds fabulous, and you took some cool photos. Love the brilliant light!
Wow .. that looks like a Dale Chihuly chandelier/light fitting! I’d love to know if it is.
That would be enough to inspire you!
It is! Isn’t that neat. His work is magical.
A Restaurant!!! Because we live in a teenie tiny village I don’t get out much any more. Going somewhere where I have not cooked or have to clean up, and that has peanut butter and banana milkshakes…add an art gallery before and after, heaven!
Uptown Kitchen looks like several restaurants we have in Cincinnati. Lee goes out once a week to a nice restaurant her treat to herself being with friends and having someone else cook. Lee loves restaurants with live plants and art work hanging. Lee will have one of those drinks now!
Thanks for stopping by my blog

Molly…I tried to fix the RSS button, but I’m going to have to get someone to help me with it. I couldn’t get it to work either. Sorry about that.
We love your adventurous spirit. You are willing to try most anything. New places, new foods.
Can’t wait until the next Saturday adventure
Bert
It looks like a fine time – even if you didn’t necessarily meet your creative goal. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. At least you know where to go to get a banana-peanut butter milkshake. Wish I did! 🙂
